Bring along broken stuff: electric gadgets, sewing jobs, bits and bobs.  We try our best to repair portable household items, sewing repairs, jewellery and zips. 

It’s one electric item each time for a household, although if we are not busy we could possibly look at two. You need to book it on the electrics reception table – Ilford Repair Cafe Electrics House Rules. 

For sewing repairs (machine or hand sewing) you can bring along a few items in case we are not busy but usually it is one sewing repair only and sometimes (if not busy) we can do minor alterations ( 5 – 10 min jobs). 

Zips and jewellery can be registered in addition to sewing repairs.   Sewing, zips and jewellery house rules 

You need to book your repairs with the sewing registration volunteer.  Please note that we focus on repairs not alterations.

We can’t look at microwaves – sorry.  At the moment we are not taking on desk top/computer software issues and upgrades.
